A fresh board every round
Sixty-plus packs out of the box, or name a theme and Pantsy writes the board for you. Never the same sixteen twice.
GRID by Pantsy · pantsy.app
If you like games like The Chameleon, you’ll feel at home in Grid. Everyone knows the secret word — except the bluffer. Give a clue, read the room and vote. Catch them, and they get one last shot at guessing the word. Free. No cards. Play it anywhere.
Getting in
It runs right in any phone browser — the host taps once for a five-letter code, and everyone joins from their own phone: enter the code or scan the QR.
First-timers learn it from a thirty-second tutorial — no ten-minute rules huddle.
It's a social party game at heart; the phone just runs it. Get your friends together over drinks, on the ferry, at lunch, or up at hytta.
How a round plays
Every phone gets the same sixteen-word board. One player doesn't know which word is yours — and has to clue like they do. Watch a Grid round loop in the phone, then bend the rules the way a host does in the app.

Why Grid
Sixteen words on every phone, one of them loaded. The phones deal, run the vote and keep the receipts — the room brings the poker faces.
Sixty-plus packs out of the box, or name a theme and Pantsy writes the board for you. Never the same sixteen twice.
It runs in any phone browser. The host taps once for a code; everyone joins from their own phone in seconds.
Caught bluffers get a last guess at the board — nail the secret word and the table votes Mercy or Execution. Every round has two endings.
Grid is one of Pantsy's modes. Flip the lever to Word and there's no board at all — one secret word, and the bluffer gets only the category. Same table, a harder hunt.
Clubs & grudges
The first round is fun. By the second night it's a vendetta. Start a club and Pantsy remembers your crew between sessions — keeping all-time stats (who's been the Pantsy most, who never gets caught, your best clue streak) and logging the grudges along the way, like who's voted for you four rounds running.
Straight answers
GRID is a social deduction game built around a board of sixteen words. Everyone sees the same board and everyone knows which word is secret — except one player, who has to blend in. Each player gives a one-word clue, the room votes on who's bluffing, and the bluffer can still win by guessing the word. GRID is a mode of Pantsy, and the phones deal the board.
If you like The Chameleon, GRID scratches the same grid-based social deduction itch — and it's free. It runs in any phone browser, so there's no deck, no code sheet and no app to install: the host taps Create game for a five-letter code, and everyone joins from their own phone by link, text or QR.
Pantsy is not affiliated with The Chameleon (a card game by Big Potato Games). The round shape is familiar — grid, clues, vote, final guess — but GRID's boards are dealt fresh by the app from sixty-plus packs or a theme you name, there's nothing to buy or carry, it scores every round automatically, and it remembers your crew's stats and grudges between game nights.
Every phone shows the same board of sixteen words. Everyone knows which word is secret except the hidden bluffer, who only sees the board. Each player gives one clue that proves they know the word without giving it away, then the room votes. Get caught and you get a final stand: guess the right word off the board and you still take the round.
Pantsy works with 3 to 12 players in the same room, each on their own phone, and everyone plays every round — nobody sits out. For bigger nights you can run several rooms at once, and communities put hundreds of people on one shared leaderboard.
Yes — it's a party game first. Rounds are about five minutes, the rules take thirty seconds to learn, and packs range from Places to Dating App Hell. House rules are yours; Pantsy just deals the words and keeps score.
